No James Bond Theme? Glad to see that he gave some props to his former MV peeps, John Powell and Harry Gregson-Williams. Lots of good score cues in the list.
He took over a Spotify playlist last year where he picked all of these tracks. They have been removed since, but a random Spotify user managed to save them before they disappeared.
Of course, it's limited by what's on Spotify. And given it was likely some corperate partner deal there was probably incentive toward maximizing picks and/or including/excluding certain things.
I'm sure if he were to make his REAL list it'd be somewhat different.
Vangelis Chariots of Fire, huge success that it was at the time, is one of the weakest things he has composed. Geez, any other film Vangelis composed for has superior tracks.
Very inconsistent 40 this should be one artist each only - WTH is Elmer, Tiomkin or Rozsa, no gals either that's surprising how far women have came into cinema/tv, Zimmer's list is not even the composers best tracks barring Steiner's, but I figure what time-zone he digs.

Indeed. I'm skeptical that the thread title can be taken at face value.

Nah, I don't think so. I love that theme and always like hearing it. Is it possible it's mass appeal success has diminished your enjoyment of it?
