Interesting thread, Thor, though too short! Michael Small was surely the maestro of the 70s big screen paranoid thriller, as was Billy Goldenberg for the small screen brand of same. I would dearly love to see this title and anything else that can be dug up from the unreleased Michael Small output cleaned up and released. Thankfully several of his scores from that period have been released since 2001, and maybe La-La Land or some other enterprising company can unearth the Goldenberg music from Columbo etc. for a box set, or even in dribs and drabs.
Yeah, we had a good spell of old releases by him (Audrey Rose, Postman Always Rings Twice, Comes A Horseman, Parallax View/Marathon Man, Star Chamber/Driver, Jaws 4, China Syndrome..) and I bought up every one of them. But what I want most now, is a re-release of Mountains Of The Moon that I can actually listen to.
