Speaking of "worst ratings", this year's Oscars were also an all-time lowest rated show.

Not a good week for "Woke." big grin

JIM PHELPS:

I posted the low Oscar ratings the other day----apparently, few people saw the Oscar show and few people saw the Oscar post.

Hopefully good. I could enjoy the last one, but I hope they have a mind & eye to tightening up the script, and making everything more sensible. My biggest gripe with Crystal Skull was the malevolent tribe of guardians who were doing nothing but sitting in ruin walls, waiting for europeans or americans to come along. :/

WARLOK:

I disliked CRYSTAL SKUll because it appeared to be a vehicle to launch a new franchise with Indiana Jones' son, and I intensely disliked the artificial CGI that dominates the entire movie.
RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and THE LAST CRUSADE are my favorite movies in the franchise.

I can understand that. I think too SPOILER the ending should not have overtly featured extraterrestrials. END SPOILER CGI was too necessary there, and the results were way too predictable.

The mainstream media and SJW's that keep preaching this nonsense don't even bother to watch this stuff. Kind of telling...

This is Disney Indie folks! Sure to have a bad ass female protagonist who will be better at everything and lecture Indie on his shortcomings and failures as a privileged white male.

Absolutely nothing from Disney + excites me. Just endless, remakes, reboots, sequels, prequels.

The BBC is sure the upcoming black female Doctor Who will bring the ratings and fans back........"just what the Doctor ordered."

I guess, Shaun Weiss is not returning.

Not sure it'll work, but one thing's for certain. Jo Martin is far and away ten times better than the current one. She has gravitas (something JW is totally devoid of), has a better outfit, and has a gorgeous Tardis interior. That said I hate this worst ever example of retconning, which is nothing less than male hating. For me equality is about balance not revenge. Obviously we have still the rest of the series to see before final judgement, but I get the impression they're going to say the character has been female all along.

I've never seen DOCTOR WHO, but most articles I've read say the show is self-destructing. The ratings are in a steady decline----adding a black female Doctor Who might be adding fuel to the fire.

And most of all, I have no interested in seeing old, washed up celebrities return for a last hurrah.

Across the board they insist on doubling and tripling down instead of showing any self reflection. Willing to destroy entire franchises and their careers in the process.

Hardly a shock that Dr Who’s ratings are poor because the show is a load of badly written and badly acted rubbish. Bradley Walsh is a good laugh but that’s about it. Trying so hard to be politically correct (female Doctor, black guy with mental health issues, Pakistani female copper).

You forgot interracial couple. Thankfully the mom bit the dust performing her John McClane act.

RE: Indiana Jones- they should reunite Indie with Short Round. I just looked him up on IMDB, he looks good for his age and I could see a good interpersonal dynamic there.

So, you're happy the character died, because she was in an interracial relationship?

Wow.
