He and Graham Chapman are doing their "silly walks" in the clouds. Thanks for the laughs, sir.

What a kick in the gut to wake up to.
It's hard to know why something like this is as saddening as the loss of someone we knew in our personal lives.

Knowing that the afterlife had just gotten slightly sillier helps a little bit.

And oh!, how he loved taking off his clothes!

RIP

"Farewell, Terry Jones. The great foot has come down to stamp on you. My god what pleasure you gave, what untrammelled joy and delight. What a wonderful talent, heart and mind" - Stephen Fry.

"Just heard about Terry J It feels strange that a man of so many talents and such endless enthusiasm, should have faded so gently away... Of his many achievements, for me the greatest gift he gave us all was his direction of 'Life of Brian'. Perfection Two down, four to go" - John Cleese

Lovely singing voice too.
It's that Welsh DNA.

"Today I hear the robin sing..." in heaven, that is. (Where Graham is surely the m.c.)

R.I.P.

I grew up thinking that the song was some old and forgotten pre-existing showtune.
Isn't it?
It IS very close to Terry's voice.

This is sad news, but not unexpected. It's a shame he was ill for so long. Loved his humour.

Too young. In an ideal world he had at least another 20 years.

I hope dear Terry gets as splendid a sendoff as Graham had, which was the greatest funeral this side of Nelson Mandela's. big grin

I will never forgive Terry for spilling Graham's remains in that 1998 Python reunion...

..or was it Terry Gilliam?

It was TG and that was a brilliant bit.
And the dustbuster afterwards... perfection.
