Except for Dr. Nigel Channing, none of us are trained Doctors; I think. However the images of Harvey Weinstein using a walker for his court appearances and/or two beefy guys (who look like bouncers), to help hold him up seems a ploy. He is old, and he could actually need all this, on the other hand, it could all be 'show' from the great showman. Have you an opinion? Paging Dr. Channing..

I've thought that walker was a sham from the minute it showed up. He wants to look weak and harmless.

Reminds me of those two spoiled rich kids who killed their dad many years ago. All dressed up in sweaters looking like good little school boys in court.
The Menendez brothers. They testified in fuzzy sweaters and cooked-up tears. Both got life in prison without possibility of parole.

Reports are he'd just had back surgery. The walker is still just weird- practically and theatrically. I don't know how he expected to engender sympathy with it.
Maybe Weinstein read my mind and ruled out a wheel chair- considering that image, I'm reminded of one of Strom Thurmond's final public appearances: the 90+ Thurmond in a wheelchair still managing to slime all over a 20-something woman standing next to him.
No matter what, the true personalities of guys like this still show through.

Isnt that the thing with the old mafia bosses - theyre in court in wheelchairs in dressing gowns hooked up to breathing apparatus and drips... the old "what's the point of jailing them, poor old grandads will be dead in weeks.."

I'm sure someone here can mock up a picture of Weinstein's head onto a AT-AT walker from The Empire Strikes Back.
That's what I see/think of every time I read this thread title.
