In addition to what Bill wrote, I also have winter homes in Craiglang and Peckham.

You picked some lovely retreats, and it's great you're fraternizing with the locals and picking up the lingo and such.

Vanishing Point's Paul Koslo--whose death last year went unnoticed here at FSM--did one of the great career-retrospective interviews back in 1999 for Shock Cinema.

If there are any FSMers left who love 1970s film, then they will thoroughly enjoy this interview:

See? I knew all you counterculture epic, non-sci-fi nerds would like the Koslo interview!

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m speechless with interest.

Didn’t realise he had such a career. I’m one of only 18 people in the world who really liked Freebie and the Bean. Wish you could get it readily on Blu-ray.

I remember Koslo mostly as a maverick supporting actor from that seventies era.
The guy that could be the buddy of actor Richard Jordan: if you catch my meaning.

• FILM
Vanishing Point
The Omega Man (the one role I associate the actor with)
Joe Kidd
The Stone Killer
The Laughing Policeman
Mr. Majestyk
The Drowning Pool

• TV
Longstreet
Mission: Impossible
Ironside

Paul Koslo was even a delight in something that was mostly garbage: a 12th-season Hawaii Five-0 episode! He wore the most hideous wig and gave a crazed performance that made an otherwise preachy, limousine-liberal script enjoyable.
