From what I've read, there are plenty of non-princely people in England engaged in the "grooming" of children for sex. And the public barely looks askance at them. Anyone pointing them out to the authorities is likely to be arrested himself for bigotry. Different lifestyles and all, you know.

In this case, the only reason anyone gives two hoots about Prince Andrew is because he is a symbol for how the rich and powerful get away with buggery or worse with children. It doesn't matter whether you are British royalty or American royalty (the Clintons). The rules are different for you.
