Hi.
Does anyone know if there's an DVD release which includes an isolated score option for Oklahoma, similar to Carousel & The King & I (& Camelot).
Enjoy those, but would love to have a similar for Oklahoma - or other major musicals.
Appreciate any news.

I don't think so. The masters for "Oklahoma" are considered lost...

Do we know for sure that Fox or the R&H Estate doesn't have the original multi channel vocal and music separation soundtrack masters tucked away somewhere?

The term "lost masters" gets thrown around a lot, when talking about soundtracks, but often proves to be incorrect.

A few years ago, when the Todd-AO version was restored, someone asked Robert Harris about the tapes over at Home Theater Forum (unfortunately I can’t seem to find the exact post) and he also said that the tapes are lost owing to the film being produced independently.

I really don't care for musicals - I much prefer songs from musicals reinterpreted by jazz artists - but I must say that Shirley Jones' version of "Out of My Dreams" is absolutely stunning.
