Perhaps coincidentally, two horror/thriller movies starring Michael Sarrazin got their premiere digital releases recently: Reincarnation of Peter Proud, and Eye of the Cat. Since Intrada released the soundtrack for the former, I'm hoping they'll also do the 2nd film soundtrack, scored by Lalo Schifrin. Eye of the Cat is a never-(so far)-released Universal title ... so this could be something within the 'Heritage' collection via La-La Land.

OK ... let's chat about Digitmovies in an Intrada thread. Will Disney ever make a 3rd installment, something like WITCH MOUNTAIN NOW?

Disney already did — Beyond Witch Mountain (1982) was a TV movie with the child actors recast but Eddie Albert reprising his role from the original film. This was one of George Duning’s few scores of the 80s and as he is a favorite of mine I’ve been dying to hear it. If Intrada had more success with Disney TV properties maybe they’d consider releasing it... There was also a 1995 TV remake of the original film Disney produced for ABC Family Movie... score by Richard Marvin (most well known for “channeling” Goldsmith for U-571). And in 2009 Disney produced a second live action remake (for theaters this time), calling it Race to Witch Mountain, giving cameo roles to the original film’s child actors (who were obviously no longer children). Score by Trevor Rabin which I remember people actually liked at the time. So...five Witch Mountain franchise entries, total. Yavar

Witch Mountain is currently danger zone territory. @ less than 130 copies, this 2-CD set will be loitering in the zone for a spell.
