It's a shame this film wasn't a bigger hit at the box office to result in a sequel. It's the first time I really appreciated Selleck as an action hero outside of Magnum PI and it's probably the closest depiction to what we might have gotten from him if he had been cast as Indiana Jones.
Wasn't there talk of a Quigley sequel at some point early on, or was that just wishful thinking from other fans? I seem to recall a movie title "Quigley Up North" with him in the Klondike.
