Hi All

Check out my new interview with THE NEWTON BROTHERS (aka Andy Grush and Taylor Newton Stewart), the frequently chilling composing companions of modern terror master Mike Flanagan on "Oculus," "Hush" and "The Haunting of Hill House" who now dare to venture into a post-Shining Overlook Hotel with DOCTOR SLEEP. It's an extensive talk where the duo now only talks about drawing on the classic Kubrick soundtrack, but also the spirit of Forbidden Planet to merge old and new sonic ghosts on the psychic soundtrack powers that terrified a generation at:

Very cool!

I just introduced my stepson to The Shining this past Halloween. Looking forward to this film.

Saw the movie tonight and liked it a lot. The best parts were actually the bits that had nothing to do with the previous movie. Some really great dream imagery too.
The score was very faithful to the original.

I couldn’t find an official thread on the score. Anyone know if a CD release is planned?
