I know we have a few of these threads but I couldn't find them.
I was surprised to find a 4 foot section in my local Walmart stocked with CD's. More surprisingly they had quite a few "soundtracks". Granted they were all recent titles and generally musicals.
But they had Aladdin (Live action) The Lion King (CGI) Moana (Still?!) Mary Poppins Returns, A Star is Born and a couple of others. There were multiple copies of each too. That's not a bad selection considering the space provided. (and this was a small Walmart not one of those Super Walmarts!)
I already have Moana, but I did pick up Aladdin and The Lion King. Though TLK was in a digipack.
There’s a Barnes and Noble in Round Rock, Tx that has a surprisingly decent soundtrack section. From Endgame and Infinity Wars to the titles you mentioned. Also saw Solo and Spider-Man homecoming.
Same with UK stores they limit their selection, bigger places like HMV Etc.. not like they use to be thinner range. I haven't bought from them places for some time now, I just use charity stores too find obscurity or record-fairs the finds have been pretty cool, fair-admissions are worth the price.
Henry already mentioned Target in another thread. I'll have to check them out. Also FYE, though I think the one in my area has closed.
Hi solium! There used to be an FYE in the Mall of America but it closed years ago. There is still one in Burnsville Mall in Minnesota. I remember a great store called Spectrum which was also in the Mall of America when the mall first opened. It was paradise! They were full of cds and laserdiscs!
