After seeing Star Trek: The Motion Picture on the big screen this week, I decided to give the lavish La-La Land Records set a play on a newly-upgraded-to-iOS 13 device.
First impression?: The 320kbps transfers from iTunes on Windows 10 exhibit greater spatial presence at lower volume. Those woodwinds that are really honking as “Floating Office” gets into its rapturous plateau have a lot more detail than in iOS 12.
A combined Apple Computer/Jerry Goldsmith fan should have no problems with the audio playback upgrade.
Audio playback interface has changed somewhat, and for the better IMHO.
