GHOSTBUSTERS 2020---Ernie Hudson has reportedly agreed to return for the sequel which focuses on a single mother and her young son.





HALLOWEEN ENDS---Jamie Lee Curtis commented on the third movie in the trilogy, “…And then the last movie is the sort of cultural phenomenon of violence, that’s what the third movie ultimately is, a very powerful examination of violence. It comes at it from a slightly different way. You’ll like it…. If you believe in me at all, I promise you what David Gordon Green has come up with as a way to complete this trilogy is sensational.”

BIRDS OF PREY---poster released for the spinoff movie starring Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ewan McGregor.





HOGAN'S HEROES---tv sequel underway based on the World War II POW tv series that starred Bob Crane, Richard Dawson, Werner Klemperer and John Banner. The sequel is set in the present with the descendants of the original POW camp characters involved in a global treasure hunt. Albert Ruddy is returning as the producer. The original tv series ran on CBS from 1965-1971.





BATTLESTAR GALACTICA---Comcast Peacock tv series underway based on the Ronald D. Moore sci fi series. Creator Sam Esmail (MR. ROBOT) said, “BSG fans, this will NOT be a remake of the amazing series Ronald D. Moore launched because… why mess with perfection? Instead, we’ll explore a new story within the mythology while staying true to the spirit of Battlestar. So say we all!”





TANGO AND CASH---Sylvester Stallone said he talked to Kurt Russell about a sequel to the 1989 movie, “I know, with Kurt [Russell], it’s not about a caper… it’s just us doing our thing.” According to Stallone, Russell said: “I don’t know, Sly… There we were in our prime and now we’re in our unprime, I dunno.” Stallone said, “I’m telling you, ya gotta go in on this”, and Russell said, “I’ll talk to you when I get back.”
Stallone also has talked to Robert Rodriguez about a tv series based on Stallone's 1986 COBRA movie, “I’m talking with Robert Rodriguez right now about COBRA which looks like that could happen.”

WITHOUT REMORSE---Jamie Bell is in negotiations to play CIA Deputy Director of Operations in the Michael B. Jordan movie based on the Tom Clancy novel.

FARGO---Timothy Olyphant has joined the Season 4 cast will play Dick "Dealy" Wickware.

THE FUGITIVE---the Quibi tv remake of the David Janssen tv series and Harrison Ford movie will star Boyd Holbrook and Kiefer Sutherland in which a man is falsely accused of bombing a Los Angeles subway train which kills his family and is pursued by a police detective.

SAVED BY THE BELL---Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley will star in the NBCU Peacock streaming tv sequel which focuses on AC Slater and Jessie Spano, whose children attend their parents' alma mater, Bayside High School. Mark-Paul Gosselaar will play Gov. Zack Morris, who shuts down low-income schools, which results in a lot of new students at Bayside.

THE ARCHIVES---CW tv series based on the novel about two sisters who follow in their deceased father's career as ghost hunters.

TRIVIA---in THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, the RAF Sea King helicopter pilot who instantly freezes after the helicopter crashes is played by producer Mark Gordon. Gordon also was the producer of SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

It - was - his concept after all. Ron Moore did a successful re-imagining, but the characters and setting were Larson's.
