Even tho I love this movie I always got the feel that it was partly taken from Southern Comfort with the military thing the singling out in the woods.
The opening credits with Teasle are great you could assume just from the badge that hostility was past boiling-point the meal thing didn't help either.. but the razor the jail break was a blast I love Jerry's vision for that, its kind of intense beginning then the orchestral stabs shoot but suddenly Jerry's blasts break-out like Sly's freedom.
