Three releases in September by Rustichelli, Lavagnino and ?? (1964, maybe Lavagnino as well?) is great! Coupled with the four 70s-80s BEAT RECORDS and CHRIS SOUNDTRACK CDs, we've had a great month.
Plus ... not one but ... two titles from 1966 forthcoming from Digitmovies (a Savina and an Ortolani).

There is also a number of Carlo Savina titles from '64 still unreleased, as well as a few by Trovajoli, too.
So it will be a Carlo Savina disc after all! One of the Savina vinyl LPs is getting the re-issue/expansion treatment on CD: Amore Mio.

I finally acquired this cd and I can confirm I'm in agreement with all the positive posts. How wonderful that such a varied and melodic score has been saved by Saimel, great thanks to Juan and Stefan. This must have one of the most beautiful love themes I have heard by this composer, and indeed is reminiscent of George Delerue. However there is also a gorgeous Spain style theme in vocal and a number of great orchestral arrangements of this theme. The the main/end title and battle music are again some of the most powerful I have heard from Rustichelli. This is one heck of a score, and the production values are great as usual! Don't hesitate to buy it at such a limited quantity!
