I prefer to wait untill the year is over to give my 'best of' lists, but there are a couple of titles on your list that correspond to my own favourites of the year: ZWINGLI, TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG, SWOON, ALL IS TRUE. I've heard about 90% of your other suggestions, and I'm afraid they didn't do that much for me, overall. But I'm looking very much forward to see PARASITE, the film, especially after it got the main prize in Cannes and has been lauded by almost all of my colleagues.

Is that or should that be a benchmark? I'm not trolling, just curious as to your repsonse.

Sure. I'm a film journalist, and although I often disagree with my colleagues, it's always worth checking something out if they're excited about it.
