My childhood memories of Battlestar Galactica are of the mixed variety. Even as an eight-year-old, the series felt forced and half-assed, and it didn't help that the show aired on a Sunday, when most every child was severely depressed about having to go to school the next day. However, I loved the spaceships, Lorne Greene, the Cylons, and Lucifer.
However, no matter how dire the typical episode was, I *always* tuned in to hear Patrick MacNee's gripping spoken introduction and above all, Stu's magnificent theme.
Thank you, Stu. I hope you realize just how much you mean to those of us "of a certain age."

I accumulated a lot of LPs in the 1990s, when everyone was unloading vinyl and no one knew what anything was (pre-eBay).
I still have hundreds of LPs in my "to be cleaned" stacks that I've never gotten to.
A few years ago, I decided I was pretty much finished with buying music, and would focus on cleaning and spinning all of those used LPs rescued from the Great Vinyl Purge.
Well, today I'm going through these LPs, and finding not one but TWO Stu Who LPs:
"Feel Like Lovin'"(Capitol ST 2356), still in the shrink wrap, in which our hero interprets the hits of 1965, including "Goldfinger" for those interested in film scores. Still in shrink, with stone-mint vinyl with that beautiful Capitol rainbow label, and the green Capitol inner sleeve hyping the latest releases from the Beach Boys and Beatles.
And:
The Hollyridge Strings "Hits of the 70s" (Capitol ST 883), in which Stu Who interprets, among others, the theme from "Shaft" and Carol King's "It's Too Late." Also stone mint, with that decadent 70s red-and-purple Capitol label.
Giving both a scrub on the trusted Nitty Gritty, and will enjoy later with a bottle of Cabernet while we're cooking dinner!
