Vacations are wrapping up for the time being. When Kay returns for duty this coming week, the whole team should be on hand… at least for another week or two! Our next new CD release is scheduled for August 27. There are a number of additional releases approaching the finish line but these days studio staffing remains pretty busy and final approvals tend to move a lot slower than they did in “the old days”. I’m doing double duty, on one hand wrapping up another 1970’s Disney world premiere and on the other hand studying in depth the original manuscripts for the entire Dial M For Murder score, our new recording project happening in just about three weeks or so. Also ahead are a pretty cool set of discs for what amounts to an almost world premiere, and soon afterwards we should be seeing the arrival of a terrific, personal favorite which was at one point going to be simply the best audio release of a classic album from several decade ago, itself a re-recording, only to have things happily result in a world premiere release of the actual soundtrack recordings as well. And there’s plenty more beyond those, too. Stay tuned.

Could this finally be the multi-CD set of Bruce Broughton’s Disney theme park music? A few cues have been released by Disney on their “official albums”, but this set would largely contain world premieres, if/when it’s released.
ONE OF OUR DINOSAURS IS MISSING would be awesome. So many seventies Disney Live Action scores need to see the light of day.Very underrepresented on CD.
"1970’s Disney" is music to my ears! Maybe they'll release "The Rescuers"? Even if its a Legacy title they did co-release "Lady and the Tramp". (right?)

BRAINSTORM!!!!
Take my money now!
Edit: that's a Varese release so darn never mind. One can dream.

It’s also been implied that this release is of a score from the 60’s, so it wouldn’t have been Brainstorm anyway.

LLL have just sub licensed a title from Varese (Planet Of The Apes) that they had in perp, so anything goes now. Who knows?

Doesn't Intrada want to release on CD Zimmer's score to Dark Phoenix and X-periments from Dark Phoenix? Probably it belongs to Disney now and I'm eager to grab a 2 CD release of the score...
