LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7J0XR8Xbl4 STAR TREK---Quentin Tarantino commented on his STAR TREK movie timeline, '“Well, it’s an idea then we got together and talked it out and then we hired Mark Smith, who did [THE] REVENANT to write the script. I don’t know how much I can say. The one thing I can say is it would deal with the Chris Pine timeline. I still don’t quite understand how – and J.J. can’t explain it to me and my editor [Fred Raskin] has tried to explain to me and I still don’t get it – about… something happened in the first movie that now kinda wiped the slate clean? I don’t buy that. I don’t like it. I don’t appreciate it. F–k that. I don’t like that. I want the whole series to have happened! It just hasn’t happened yet. And Benedict Cumberbatch or whatever his name is, is not Khan. Khan is Khan. And I told JJ, ‘I don’t understand this, I don’t like it’ and he said, ‘Ignore it! Nobody likes it! I don’t understand it! Do whatever you want! If you want to do it the exact way it happened in the [original series], it can.'” Also, Tarantino said he is talking to Uma Thurman about another KILL BILL sequel, "Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it, but I have thought about it a little further... I've wondered what happens to The Bride 10 years later, 15 years later - what happens to her daughter." Earlier, Thurman accused Tarantino of intentionally endangering her in a KILL BILL VOL. 3 car crash sequence which injured her. However, she said she did not want the incident to harm her relationship with Tarantino. HALLOWEEN---Jamie Lee Curtis tweeted that she is returning for two more sequels, "It ain't over till the fat lady sings...Well, my friends and fans... I'm just WARMING UP...Happy Halloween 2020/2021." THE WALKING DEAD---Jeffrey Dean Morgan commented on a possible Negan theatrical movie, "I know that it's been discussed. We gotta do it before I get any older, I mean, pretty soon I'm not gonna be able to be the young Negan anymore." The Rick Grimes theatrical movie appears to be set in Philadelphia. THE LORD OF THE RINGS---Markella Kavenagh (PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK) is the first cast member announced for the Amazon prequel tv series. She will play a character named Tyra. THE LAST DUEL---Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are the stars/co-writers of this movie based on the novel set in 1386 France where a Norman knight has to duel his old friend who was accused of raping his wife. Ridley Scott is the director. RIDDICK 4: FURYA---Vin Diesel announced David Twohy finished the script for the latest Riddick sequel which was included the line, “Everyone wants to be a beast until it’s time to do what real beasts do.” THE ETERNALS---Marvel Studios confirmed the movie will star Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek and Richard Madden. MEN IN BLACK: INTERNATIONAL---Sony Pictures head Tom Rothman explained why the sequel had a disappointing box office, "I think the truth of the matter is the audience really liked that film and the cast was wonderful, Tessa [Thompson] and Chris [Hemsworth] were great and did a terrific job, but if we made any mistake, I think it probably was that there was not a strong enough idea in the story. Especially when you compare that to, say, JUMANJII, which had a very, very strong idea." A STRANGER ON THE BEACH---movie underway based on the upcoming novel about a wealthy Hamptons woman who has a one night stand with a bartender and is then accused of murdering her husband. TRIVIA--in the original TRUE GRIT, Glen Campbell was hired because of his popularity as a singer. He said his often-criticized acting was, "a good deed...I made John Wayne look so good in a movie that he won his only Oscar."

I'm about ready to wipe my hands of all future Trek. What a sad day it has come to this!

I'll give Picard a decent chance, but the Tarantino Trek, should it happen, can go right on by.

Glad to see those two working on scripts again! Matt writes the script and then Ben types it. Sounds like a variation on the duellists to me

I can imagine the pitch meeting: " It's GAME OF THRONES meets GOOD WILL HUNTING.

I'm having a hard time keeping track of what will be QT's 10th/final feature: * Star Trek * Kill Bill 3 * the Inglourious Basterds prequel * another western * the "big original finale" Did I leave any out?

Hopefully it's Revell. And hopefully it's not a re-hash, like the last film was. Work that universe, work that character, don't remake "Pitch Black" a second time.

RIDDICK 4: FURYA---Vin Diesel announced David Twohy finished the script for the latest Riddick sequel which was included the line, “Everyone wants to be a beast until it’s time to do what real beasts do.” Why do I get the impression Vin Diesel dreamed up that line and said "let's make a movie about me saying that." Because it's clunky as hell.
