That is awesome. Really liked the show.

However, I'll be sorely disappointed if Eddie Jobson doesn't score it! My favorite composer on the series. Heck, I want his theme song back; imagine how awesome it would be to open the film with an extended version; fangasms.

EDIT:
Missing from IMDb, but I just submitted the addition, so it should be up in an hour or so. I had to add "Snoopy in Space" to IMDb yesterday, too!

RE: Cats The Musical Movie- I don't know if I should be oddly turned on or oddly creeped out?

RE: Terminator Dark Fate- Yeah, this will pull me back in!

At last a series to really enjoy among a sea of cack. The previous Fargos were excellent.

That's actually a clip from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I'm not watching it - I'm remaining clip-free until next Friday when I see the blamed movie. My advanced ticket for the Friday late afternoon showing is glowing in its envelope. Can't wait to go!

I'm hoping the Cats movie could spell doom for the CGI musical, and CGI remakes of old animation, for that matter. The presence of Taylor Swift ensures a musty ordure will hang about the project...

...though Americans, in particular, seem to have acquired a taste for musty ordure. It would be great fun to see its appeal begin to wane with Cats.

  • At last a series to really enjoy among a sea of cack. The previous Fargos were excellent.

Hey, what gives? Aren't we supposed to be in a Golden Age of Cack?

  • TOP GUN: MAVERICK---trailer released for the sequel.

Didn't like the first movie, but this... impresses. Albeit the absence of a storyline only portends that I'm in for the same lackluster affair as before.

  • ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD---trailer released for the Quentin Tarantino movie.

This is reminding me of that time when Hitler was a painter...

  • CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS---Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh will return as Superman in the CW Arrowverse five-part crossover series in fall, 2019.

    Color me intrigued.

  • CATS---trailer released for the movie musical.

I'm at a loss of sticking to one bon mot, so I'll post these few...

    A) Aw, ain't it preciously hypocritical? Hollywood wants to throw out its animated cake and not eat it, too.

    B) This is supposed to open the same weekend as Rise of Skywalker.... THIS.

    C) Were all the actors neutered?

    D) Dang, somebody already took "UnCatty Valley".

You haven't been paying attention. China will eat this up (if their censors aren't against anthropomorphism). America's box office, minus anything deemed "Marvel" or "Star Wars", is on life support.

Besides, haven't you heard... *gasp*... THAT THERE ARE NOOOOOOOOOO CATS IN AMERICAAAAAAAAA!!!

The only thing that freaked me out were cats in fur coats. (well one other thing but I'd get bashed if I said it.) I don't get all the backlash, no one had a problem with the people of Pandora. I guess its a fur bias. That said I don't think this is going to be another Aladdin, much maligned before it opened only to do gangbusters at the box office. I think this is gonna bomb.

I guess I'm a furry, I've always loved anthropomorphic characters, from Planet of the Apes, Dr. Moreau, Kamadi, Disney's Robin Hood, etc.

It didn't freak me out either (peoplth ith tho thenthitive); I've seen Food Fight. The vocal minority is now whining about mermaids with melanin and "John Carpenter's" Pumbaa, of all things. Twitter is officially the bastion of whiners, not a barometer of public taste. Don't underestimate the power of the foreign market (don't they worship cats in China or sumthun?), but Cats may bomb domestically mainly because of the lack of branding compared to the juggernaut (bitch!) that is Disney, "Swifties" be damned. Avatar had Cameron-branding. What's a Tom and why must he Hooper?

Alas, it's opening against Rise of Skywalker, which would doom even Rise of Skywalker if that opened against Rise of Skywalker.

You... may not want word of that getting out. embarrassment

  • Will the sequel to RISE of Skywalker be DAWN of Skywalker?

If only it's followed by the War of the Battle of the Escape of the Conquest of the Beneath of the Return of the Revenge of the Attack of the Skywalker.

    Your move, MCU.

I am a bit on the fence about CATS. The trailer looked good to me, especially the choreography. Many years ago, I brought home the DVD of CATS which was of the original Broadway production. I fell asleep. Later I saw Broadway’s traveling company do CATS. I was a bit bored. I finally realized that I didn’t really care for almost all of the songs. With the exception of “Memory” which is stunningly gorgeous, I found the other songs rather tuneless.

Certainly, Jennifer Hudson has the vocal capability to belt out Memory, and the trailer was smart to use that song in the background because of its familiarity. Seems to have a good cast. Maybe I’ll see it and hope it engages me, but I’m not sure yet.

Nah, the "normies" that mock and ridicule eventually come around. They have with Star Wars, Star Trek, MCU, etc, etc, etc.

You have, as the kids nowadays say, "gumption".

For some reason I suddenly have no interest in watching this film.
