Beat Hazard 2 is an arcade shooter for PC through the Steam service. As with its predecessor it generates the shooting according to the music track you choose to literally play.
For some, myself included, the more active moments in both theme and game tended to wash out elements you needed to see. #2 welcomingly added a setting to reduce the intensity of those effects, giving you a good median at about 50% of normal.
#2 startlingly also generates a peculiar/unique player ship to utilize also based upon whatever theme you play... you must succeed at the entire theme to get the opportunity to unlock it.
The Beat Hazard experience is a strange place in shooters, and recommended: not really difficult by comparison to hardcore compatriots, yet especially in #2 extremely compelling, and a nice way to revisit some of your favourite music.
