As noted in one of the "CHiPs" volumes, during the musician's strike, already recorded cues were re-recorded. In FSM's article on the scoring of "The Streets of San Francisco", it's noted that some scores were re-recorded. For example, off the top of my head. From the TWZ Cafe: "I Sing the Body Electric" original score composed and conducted by NATHAN VAN CLEAVE. This score is unique in that it was recorded twice. The reason is not known for certain but it is a fact that the episode was re-shot four months after... There are obvious tempo and timing differences between the two recordings. Whatever the reason for the re-recording, the version heard in the episode can only be heard there; all commercial releases of the music, as well as re-uses of cues in later TZ episodes, use the non-episode version.    Posted:   Nov 20, 2023 - 8:36 PM     By:   W. I don't know which ones, how many, or if he also played on scores by other composers.
