Actually here in Sweden lots of people has the name Björn (the Swedish translation of Bear) as their first name. Ever heard of Björn Ulveaus of Abba? Or Björn Skifs performer of the hit Hooked On A Feeling? And it is so common that no one cares that it`s the same as the animal.
That's like saying the name "Mr. He-Who-Sleeps-in-a-Pigsty" is no big deal because it translates to the name of the German footballer, Schweinsteiger.
In the early 1970's actress Barbara Hershey changed her name to Barbara Hershey Seagull. She later dropped the Seagull. This bit of information is for the birds ....... sorry, couldn't resist!
