Sadly I can't play US Blu-rays. Dvds yes, but not region locked Blu-rays. Paul, Thought about a region free player? Oh yeah I am familiar with the concept. Just dragging my feet I suppose. Of the machines I've had I made sure they were all multi-region, and that's at least two dvd players and two Blu-rays but the latter were only multi-region for dvd. And then I hear Blu-rays need upgrading every so often, and there are problems (one person on this site having problems with a Blu-ray player) etc. Then there are all the streaming options, and is it worth any more investment in disc based formats...the list goes on! I think I'm at an age where I'm slowing down on keeping up with the technology. It's passing me by. And I feel I'm slowing down on the collecting front. But the interest is still there so who knows?
