This is a comments thread about Blog Post: Aisle Seat 5-7: Alien 4K, Scream & Twilight Time New Releases by Andy Dursin

I find the title font for the new Three Coins in a Fountain Blu-Ray release a bit odd. The font makes the title look like it is meant for a horror movie. Also, why are the N's backwards?
Now, I am also going to mention the infamous technical information error. I thought the film was in 2.55, not 2.35 (oh ba-rother....I figure I would make fun of myself before someone else did it).
There, I made my nit-pick comment. Bring on the hate comments, or dislike comments, or any horse dump comments...I can take it.

Glenn Erickson (who writes under the moniker "DVD Savant"), said this about the earlier Fox Studio Classics DVD of the film:

"The enhanced widescreen image is listed as 2:55-1 but the transfer looks like the readjusted 2:35 standard that CinemaScope found the next year."

And he says this about the new Blu-ray:

"The Twilight Time Blu-ray of Three Coins in the Fountain is a handsome scan and encoding of this early ‘Scope feature in the full original width of 2.55 to 1."
