I was forced to call them the other day to determine where the hell my March 15th order was because all of my recent e-mail inquiries kept getting bounced back to me as "undeliverable".

Holey Sh*t! eek There's some places I simply will not order from anymore.

Varese is a shell of the company that it once was, thank goodness for better sources.

They have gone incommunicado with me through all forms of contact. Still haven't got what I ordered.

Terrible company. Will no longer support them.

I've sent Varese numerous emails about my order placed a month ago without a single reply. My emails weren't getting bounced back but just no reply.

I resorted to posting on their Twitter account almost begging them to reply to me but to no avail.

I finally received a dispatch email a few days ago with an eight digit tracking number. Varese mention in the email that it's being sent via Worldmail but when I put my number into Worldmail, nothing comes up at all. It doesn't exist!!

I've even tried tracking the number on my side of the pond but to no avail.

PS - Guess what, because of the aggro Varese causes, I ordered their Knight Rider from Intrada. Intrada sent it and it's now in my country already on it's way to me, all withing the space of a week!!

I'll NEVER use Varese EVER again!! Varese will not survive very long if it carries on in this manner!

My Varese Knight Rider order is here with some visible cracks. The package was untrackeable ofcourse. (Williams cd comes via Amazon.com UK)

Whoever is running things at Varese don't give a damn as long as they can get our money! I am still awaiting a reply to two emails I sent them some weeks ago, and those emails were delivered! Their policy seems to be to just ignore all communication from people who have done business with them in good faith and then just ignore those customers if they have concerns or issues and hope that they will shut up, become silent and just go away. Varese at present are not worth supporting or doing business with.

All of these issues break my heart. If I was still there you can bet I would have tried to resolve as many issues as I could. Not sure what is going on. Frustrating that’s for sure.

Sorry to see your troubles with Varese Niall. I always buy from Intrada and SAE even if it cost a little more, they are both great companies. I have also bought direct from LLL and Kristerland, both are excellent companies too. Hope all works out for you.

Finally got my 2 LPs and a couple of CDs from Varese. All I can say is that it's the last time I'll ever order direct from them again. Customer service is non-existent!
I ordered Varese's Knight Rider but not from them, from Intrada, it cost a little more but hey, I received it here in the UK within a week.
Stick with LaLa, Intrada and SAE if you can. If you want to suffer anxiety by taking a chance then by all means, go to Varese. Good luck with that if you do!

But then order it from Intrada. Somehow the Varese Stock gets to them and us in better shape.

A fan of delays, mysterious ways, contact fails & unreturned mails?
Broken hubs, packages, plastic cases, high shipping prices to oversea bases?
Then heed this advice if you please, there's a place that fulfills all your needs,
By all means go ahead before going to bed, order your stuff through Varese.

I recently ordered two CDs from Vareses new batch. When it was delivered i was in vacancy so the post office send it back (they only hold it back for 7 days). I send a mail to naxos which has been answered within one hour. They told me, that they would send it again (to Germany) with worldmail. My package arrived today in good shape (no cracks in the case...). Communication during this process was really good so in the end i am very satisfied with their customer service.
