Here are French Horn & Trumpet covers of several cues from BTTF2 !

As usual I transcribed and re-recorded all of the horn/trumpet parts and also had some fun with a few others wink

Thank you for posting these. You did a brilliant job!

It just proves the amount of skill and detail that goes into all these wonderful scores we are mad about.
Loved following, or at least trying to, the notes.

Fantastic job. I’ve always liked the Part II Main Title more than the “Main Theme” End Credits suite from Part I. You really nailed the French Horn section while flying through the clouds. Goosebumps.

First: Kudos and hats off, you are truly gifted, thanks for what you do!!

But how do you do that? How do you extract the horn parts (single instruments!) from the CD recording to be able to replace them with your live playing? What software do you use?

And while we're at it: How do you produce that video effect with the score sheet sliding by?

I would most intrigued...

I actually don't extract anything, I just record my parts on top of the original recording and then it's a matter of playing with EQ/Panning/Reverb to make it sound good smile

And while we're at it: How do you produce that video effect with the score sheet sliding by?

I experimented for a while to find the best way to do that, in a nutshell it's a giant .png file extracted from Sibelius and reworked in Photoshop which I then animate with keyframes in Premiere !

And thank you very much for your kind words smile

Also if you wish to know more about the sheet music effect I use at the beginning of the Opening video, feel free to check out this making-of wink
( I talk about that around 4'51 )
