So many of their Williams titles are their very best (you could argue that they should be the only ones allowed to do them), but this one is definitely special as all hell. Makes a great double feature listen with E.T.
Sorry to see this score disappear into the archives. Like CE3K, this is a score I've very much admired but never really enjoyed, which is why I never picked it up.
Bullet bit, nettle grasped, CD ordered. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get this as I've been looking at it for ages, so thanks for the warning MV
This is a brilliant release. Anyone who doesn't have it, I highly recommend it! Definitely don't miss out on it. It's a score I was iffy on until hearing this presentation.
I still have some CDs displayed (most are just boxed away after ripping to PC) and those are among my all-time favourite releases. Suffice to say A.I is there.... along with quite a number of other LLL titles.
I take it, these are the last of the full quantity. Hopefully just not the last of the current batch and it's not worth pressing the remainder. Wouldn't seem right if this couldn't sell the full qty, although I'm surprised it's lasted as long as it has.
Easily in the top five for American film scores this century. Stupendous work that's as dense as Close Encounters, of which it is a worthy successor. Get it!
