Wow you really DO learn something new everyday. Well in my case.
I had known that Elmer Bernstein had a connection with designers named Charles and Ray Eames and had composed some scores concerning them. Not being that well versed in them I had always figured from the names Charles and Ray Eames that they were brothers. Two traditionally male names, Charles and Ray.
I found out today that they were a married heterosexual couple.
I learned something I never knew today. I love it! Was anyone else oblivious to this like me?
I always thought it was a shame we didn't get further volumes because Elmer sadly passed away. I think this was the only release on his label Amber Records (Kings of the Sun presumably would have been the second).
I've wistfully wished someone would approach the surviving Eames children about resuming the series which, after all, redounded to the glory of Eames' accomplishments as much as Elmer's. And Elmer may be gone, but there has never been a need to re-record the music, the tracks have always existed. (And might not Elmer's offspring, too, think it a worthy project to sustain?)

Well said Preston! I would certainly buy any future release!
