Oh, and why is a 'Hollywood Blockbuster Movie' NOT a film? Because YOU don't like them?[/endquote.
No, because they are movies. And they NEED to make massive sums of money. Akin to commercial Pop Music. Spend obscene amounts of money-pray to bring in the "general mindless public" to spend millions so you can break even or make a profit. "Entertainment" that primarily appeals to the lowest common denominator of society.
Is it not these movies that most claim and complain that the Composer has to acquiesce to what the Director wants and thus subsequent movie scores start to fit into a mold or form that is generally disliked. Hence, some folks hating brilliant musicians like Johann Johannsson, Max Richter, Cliff Martinez, Julio de la Rosa and other "soundscape type" Composers, because they want symphonic/orchestral scores.
I'm perfectly calm. I'm peacefully listening to my 2CD set of Sergio Moure De Oteyza's score for 'Seis Hermanas' on Rosettta Records. Say what?
Casino Royale (2006) is still an iTunes exclusive right?
Well, partially. Somes tracks are exclusive to iTunes but there's a shorter album more widely available. In the same vein, the track "Captain America March" from Silvestri's score for the Marvel movie is an iTunes exclusive.

It's only now that I find out this is where Amazon has stashed it after nixing it from a little something called an official album (it didn't use to be an iTunes exclusive on release)! Thanks Amazon, ya razzafrazza wabbits...

Thank you, it wasn't aware of this other release. The track is still only availabe as a download though, and doesn't seem available in lossless of Hi-Res format anywhere, unfortunately.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES
Recently released on CD and LP.
Maybe was it about Brian Tyler's score for the 2014 movie ? I think this one is a download-only album.
