I was watching a Civil War or Western movie once, it was from the late 1940s or early 50s, and a battle scene used the exact theme from Adventures of Superman, the cue you'd always hear when George Reeves was flying to the rescue near the end of an episode. The movie used it for a cavalry charge, if I recall.
Does anybody know what old movie that was? There's no doubt the TV show borrowed the theme from the movie.
...did this movie have Elizabeth Warren in it(HAHA)!??
No Warren. Although it was made at a time when Hollywood would put whites in a dark wig and some swarthy makeup, and everybody was cool with that.
Regarding the music question, another possibility that occurs to me is that Adventures of Superman might have come first, and both productions just dipped into the same music library. I really wish somebody here could recall the film in question.
