Great read and glad that only 10 minutes are songs. That makes me even more excited. I've been absolutely falling in love with Horner's music again with the last few big releases that I didn't realize I was missing. The Intrada mixing has let the music shine. I ordered this as soon as I finished the first sample.
It is not Land Before Time, which stands above, but as a film American Tail is surprisingly dark and dramatic, and loaded with very fine animation from the mouse level view. I still have a lot of love for the Bluth school of drawing, not as cleaned up and 'pretty' as Disney, not that there is anything wrong with that either. In any case, a fine score, and a welcome expansion-remaster.
Shouldn't that bonus track be titled "The Wawwy"...?
Anyways, I'm THRILLED to finally have this in complete form, and hope this means we'll be getting the sequel score and Horner's Land Before Time in complete, remastered form as well.
