Love Fiddler, the story is not only fun but very beautiful flowing, the cast were magnificent & Williams wrote fab tapestry that's traditional that evoked this gypsy styled culture.

I agree it is a wonderful movie. and the songs blend so well into the action and are lovely as well.
Yeah, Williams didn't quite pull off the hippie style at the time. Just look at the FIDDLER Oscar scene on Youtube, with the the mullet flowing freely.
