I just tried to sign in, and was surprised that I was signed out. No password that I tried worked. I clicked the recovery link but got no email. Now suddenly I'm signed in, and I don't know what changed.
Checking my posting history, it says I posted on the TNG thread this AM, but I haven't been on all day and there's no post from me there. So now I'm worried I was hacked. Does anyone know if my account spammed the board?
I changed my password to be safe. Please encourage your friends to unblock me if they did; I'd hate for them to miss any of my insightful musings.
Awe sorry Jim! The internet is a hard place to make jokes and I didn't mean to offend! I only meant that you have a lot of computer questions and nobody has any answers. I always read those hoping I can offer advice. I enjoy your posts, even if I can't help out.
I'm glad to know it isn't just me. I was mostly concerned that the board thinks I posted yesterday. Anyways, password changed, mischief managed.
I haven't been able to shake the worry that someone spammed the board using my account. But I just figured it out:
When I click "View Threads With Posts by This User" it lists all threads I've posted in, BUT they are sorted in "Thread Last Post Date" order, NOT in the order that I posted in them. Meaning the last time ANYONE posted to the thread.
So nobody hacked, nobody spammed. I just forgot my password since I never log out. At least I can rest easy now.
