Who here is planning on watching it?! It's currently about 22 DEGREES outside here, but I'm going out into the country right before totality and look at it for a bit! Can't WAIT! I TRIED TO POST THIS AN HOUR AGO, but the fucking BOARD WOULDN'T LET ME! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Well...apparently I'm the ONLY PERSON IN THE UNITED STATES TO GO OUT TO WATCH IT! I drove out into the country to my usual spot, which is at an intersection out in the middle of nowhere. A few minutes after I stopped, a car drove past. I got out, and was FREEZING MY ASS OFF. After a few minutes, I got back in my car to warm up. Even with my ski mask on, and three shirts and a heavy coat, I was still cold. After a few minutes of sitting in my car, I saw some headlights coming down the road. YEP.... SOME FUCKING ASSHOLE CALLED THE COUNTY POLICE ON ME(I suspect it was the asshole whoo drove past me)! He approached my car very slowly on the passenger side, asked me to rolll down my window. He asked me what I was doing, and I said, "One word... ECLIPSE!". He was very nice and said he'd been looking at it as well. He asked for my license, I happily obliged, and after a few minutes came back to my car. I asked him if it was alright to stay for a few more minutes, and he said yeah, as long as it was ONLY a few minutes. Honestly, I don't know why it was an issue where I was parked, since I've gone to that place several times in the past four years, and it's nowhere near any houses(In fact, the road is a dead-end). He pulled away and I watched the eclipse for a few more minutes, then left. I hope to hell whoever bothered the police gets herpes!
