Kinda disappointed we didn't get better pictures. They promised they would come, it would just take a year or so to transmit them back to earth. Should've seen a lot more by now.

I concur, Sol. The camera must have been pointing in the right direction because of the side views obtained when the probe zipped past the bi-berg.

The one thought I can't shake is that the likes of 'us,' making half-assed comments on gut hunches, might have scared them off from making new material available because it's possible 50% of speculation might just be right, and one way to put a stop to that spurious speculation is to not show any more images because images constitute free information supplied to those that did not invest in the mission where it counts. In this way, the scientists (not without some justfication in doing so) get to have exclusive first impressions on what can be seen without being upstaged by conscientious speculators (no names mentioned).

Don't forget that the last image furnished was quite a nugget and this object is the first of it's kind ever visited by an earth probe. Which means that insofar as pure information goes, it's value is priceless. SWRI have actually conceded that the object likely condensed from rarefied gas to solid without going through a 'large blocky material' stage. As far as I can see, this has been their biggest concession to date.

It was bugging me. Arrokoth (Ultima + Thule) looks like the Mandelbrot Set. Blob 1 and Blob 2?
