"Ross speaks Williams’ unique musical language fluently, and has previously adapted the “Star Wars” canon for the Star Tours ride in Tomorrowland and the rethemed Hyperspace Mountain."

I thought Giacchino did Star Tours?

I thought Giacchino did Star Tours?

Giacchino did Space Mountain in the mid-2000s.

"John Williams, who composed the music for all the main Star Wars saga films, approached Walt Disney Imagineering about writing the music for the attraction. After evaluating the storyboards the ride sequences, Williams determined that a newly-written musical score was unnecessary. Instead, Williams suggested that the on-ride music should be the original cues from the films, along with unused passages from the film scores that he and his music editor found. Michael Giacchino provided additional arrangements of various Star Wars themes for use in the commercials and pre-show videos in the attraction. Also, the signature Star Tours logo chimes, composed by Richard Bellis, remained in the attraction. "

I'm really getting annoyed by this vinyl-cassette tape nostalgia thing... The most annoying is the trend that they release the music on vinyl but no CDs. It seems the CD is kind of a pariah now. But for me it's still the best way to release music on and to listen to music. And no, I don't care about sound quality debates, to my ears CDs always sounded better than vinyls.

My only hope is that in some years the nostalgia wave will also reach CDs.

The sound quality of pictures discs is pretty bad. Normal black vinyl and even coloured is fine, but picture discs are just for collectors to look at. I have several by my favourite pop acts from the 80s but I would never listen to them.
