is that supposed to be any good? It's quite good...very theme-driven...melodic, dramatic. I've only listened to it in full a few times, so far this weekend, not sure if I love it yet...but it is growing on me the more I listen.
Quartet seems to have A LOT of catching up to do since they were also supposed to release albums by Miriam Cutler, Federico Jusid, Elia Cmiral, Laurent Eyquem, Chad Cannon... some of them available digitally for more than 6 months already... and still no CDs available.

I think we can assume that a score that has few digital buyers has rather no chance of being released on CD by QUARTET RECORDS. I don't know how many times MMS has to sell a score in digital form, so a CD release for QUARTET RECORDS seems reasonable. 500 digital sales for a 300copy CD release? I think MMS and QUARTET have gained enough experience in recent years to be able to assess this. Both labels seem to be convinced of the quality of THE JADE PENDANT soundtrack, as the CD release by QUARTET RECORDS is already announced on the MMS website! A wait for the digital sales figures therefore does not seem necessary for QUARTET in this case, to release this score on CD. Good for fans who are only interested in CD releases.
I remember this getting lots of raves from my colleagues in the IFMCA. It didn't do anything for me, personally, but then this type of score is not really my cup of tea these days.

A completely WRONG assumption, because we all know that digital and physical customers are different target groups and don't think the same. In general collectors who buy CDs wouldn't spend a dime for digitals, and whoever is satisfied with the download might not purchase a CD. Personally I'm anxious for the physical CD.

Wrong. We are speaking of two different groups of individuals as stated above.
