It's so cheap I just might double dip for a pressed copy. But why does it say "manufactured on demand", doesn't that usually refer to CD-R's and DVD-R's?

I guess they just receive the newly pressed CDs from WaterTower without having been noticed they are not "manufactured on demand" anymore. I'm glad it was released as a regular pressed CD and I managed to get one but it would be really good if customers could know for sure what kind of a release they will get.

Rejoice! A big thank you T.J. Turner and Roger Feigelson! Received my copy today and I can verify it's a factory pressed 2-cd package. Even booklet and artwork are factory items and as such, vividly colourful and properly bound. Order from ImportCds ONLY and NOT on any Amazon outlets.

But this does make wonder how many albums are released as CD-Rs in one place but as pressed CDs in another.
Maybe we should start keeping record of this because many times the descriptions and reviews don't mention it.

Recently, before WW84 I remember getting A Hidden Life by James Newton Howard directly from Amazon US. It is also a CD-R. I returned it and re ordered the score from Amazon DE, and it arrived a pressed CD.

Same goes for Ghost of Tsushima by Ilan Eshkeri & Shigeru Umebayashi. The US release are CD-Rs. But the Japanese release are pressed CDs and even have an extra track.

The God of War by Bear McCreary, US= CD-R, EU release = Pressed CD

Pacific Rim by Ramin Djawadi US release CD-R. Korean release = Pressed CD

I've always been curious about Jack the Giant Slayer by John Ottman, this is also a CD-R, I never did the research at the time but, Did any eventually wind up with a pressed copy?

....Maybe this should be it's own thread.

Most WATERTOWER and all of Sony Classical soundtrack releases are factory pressed in UK and EU. Still, JOKER, BIRDS OF PREY (HARLEY QUINN) come as CD-Rs even in the EU.

In Germany the later pressing of JOKER was a pressed disc.

I never heard the score or watched the movie until today.

I was listening to Hans's LIVE CD and was blown away by the music, so I decided to watch the movie. It wasn't very good, quite boring. frown But the score was electric.

Got the album now. This is a great score, one of the best modern scores I have heard in a long time.

Yeah, I don't know where he got the enthusiasm to write such a magnificent score for such an awful film but you're right it is electric. The first three or four tracks are amazing. The whole score is a delight.

Brilliant score. I think Zimmer was inspired by the character alone.

I have to second and third all of your opinions. A few years later, I haven't gone back to watch the movie, but I go back and listen to the score very frequently and it's soo good. I also enjoy the sketchbook Hans did for this movie as well.

Too bad the movie wasn't better or I think more people might know how great the soundtrack is.
