The biggest question I have about Season 2 is whether Patrick Stewart will still be over-acting.
Yeah he gives Shat a run for his money every now and then. Stewart great a lot of times, (love him in the X-Men films) but does over act too, especially in Star Trek. He should've won the "Ham It Up" award for Excalibur. Now he just seems warn out and tired.

I think Patrick did some very fine acting in Nemesis, but it is not a loved film, so it got missed.
I would say Avery Brooks is probably the worst scenery chewer of all Trek.
I’d certainly agree with you on that. Brooks is a Shockley bad actor who makes even Walther Koenig look capable of giving nuanced performances. Brooks was the reason I gave up on DS9. He also ruined Spenser: For Hire too.
