A Them thread number two!

Seems to be the magic number. Members actually commented - on the FILM!

Warner Archive is re-releasing "Keeper of the Flame" (1942) which looked interesting so I just watched it. Great golden age music by Bronislau Kaper (sounds like a Warner score) which I'm sorry to see isn't available. Anyway, he adapted the main theme for the very end of THEM.

Once again I've updated this prior thread to reflect TCM's most current airing of this film. (See top post for details). Let's hope Mr. Carson does not feel the need to needlessly resurrect the others.

It was infinitely worse that you created more duplicate THEM! threads than there were stupid giant ants in the movie.

And TCM is airing THEM! again already?!? Did Jane Fonda get the other 100,000 films that used to be in the Turner library in the divorce settlement?

"No, we haven't seen the end of THEM." Just watched this again last night. Got a chuckle when Pat tells Bob to "watch himself" when he drives into the sewers. Being a woman, this would typically signal that she's staying behind, but she's decked out in military clothes and drives off in another jeep.

Only if you keep having unnecessary digs and getting prickly at what was a harmless bit of fun. All i did was point out that we had 7 or 8 of them, them threads. But fair play, arthur, you are reusing all the old TCM threads, which is great. So well done.

So your reminder of posts long buried, forgotten and ignored (except by yourself and Bill Carson) somehow makes the rest of us better off, is that what you're trying to say here? Or do you also, like Bill, still find it funny?

You know, you're like a cop who pulls someone over for no reason, so he just makes a joke about it and expects the driver to join in the fun.

Arthur, turn the tables on him. Ask Carson about his encounter with Omar Sharif. He'll cry like a little baby.

Okay, so once again (I do not do the programming at TCM) they're showing Them! (1954) Wednesday, April 28 (2021) at 5pm PST.

My review is here:

Currently watching the Hulu series "Them." Three episodes in, I'm enjoying it.
