very much so He just recently recorded something in London... perhaps it was either King of Thieves or Serenity - since this one will probably take a few more months and his other projects are also already recorded (Darkest Minds recorded in March and Keepers probably completed last year but still waiting for a release date). Unless it was something else entirely.
Hopefully we'll get a couple more albums by the year's end.
But film composers get to respond to an edit of a movie that's in front of them and which has clear needs.
Pop artists have to pull ideas and songs out of thin air and to try to make something that will play with a specific target audience. It's a very different medium.
Hopefully if not for Hellboy (which might be too dark to get anywhere near the thematic richness of the "original"), he will deliver something great for The Darkest Minds... Both of those certainly have a great potential. And it would be nice to see him revist Peter Pan / Summer in February teritory.
