Is there any kind of "map" of what's on the Trilogy and how it relates to the score as it's in the film?

This might help: http://bladerunnermusic.blogspot.com/2009/02/chronological-order.html

How much of LEONS ROOM was actually used in the Final Cut. Hard to hear any.

"Leon's Room" has generally been referred to on the boots as "Esper Analysis," the scene after "Deckard's Dream." The whole track is present in the film.

That "map" linked above should note that "Desolation Path" was only used in the Workprint, but the rest is solid. The anonymous comment below that post is largely accurate, however.

I have to say that THE COMPLETE SCORE is one of the more "listenable" versions of the score that I've heard. But I do need my Full Blade Runner Blues.

I'm glad you like it. Even though I personally find the Complete Score more satisfyingly reflective of the movie itself than other comps (especially the duel at the end), I've cut together a slightly different version of the comp myself just for listening. I like hearing all of the harp source music, and a longer version of Deckard's Dream, and less of Leon's Interrogation. There'll never be a comp of this music that satisfies everyone, but I'm glad I was able to dig some stuff out of those 5.1 channels that we hadn't had before so we can have as much material to mix and match as we please.

I also think it's interesting to be able to compare what the composer did vs how the director and editor used the music in any film where there's a considerable variation between the two like this film. Alien is another excellent example.

Thanks.
I thought it was the scene after his.murder when Deckard is looking for clues in his room.

I would be interested to see that.

I know that the album that Vangelis originally released in the 1990s is very different from the score, but i would also be interested to know if that album contains longer versions of anything heard in the film.

One more question: You mentioned a bunch of short cues. I realize that you are placing the score in film order, but have you experimented with combining any of the shorter cues, using tight transitions, into longer tracks?

As I mentioned that there is much more music on the CDs than the film versions in many cases.

BLUES...FUTURE...etc.
V recorded long pieces of contiguous music that was cut up and placed in various places.
He edited them down for the official release

Yes, Blade Runner Blues, Memories of Green and Tales of the Future are all much longer on the officially released soundtrack from 90s.

I haven't experimented with combining cues since what I was aiming to do was recreate what Terry Rawlings did in fitting the music to the film. Even without doing that, I find the film version more enjoyable to listen to. Rawlings' edits and reworkings have their own dynamic effect overall, as opposed to Vangelis' originals, which in their longer form are more mood pieces. That's just my personal preference, though. Many people love the longer recordings.

Raine Hilson, who was Vangelis' sound engineer at Nemo Studios, near Marble Arch London died suddenly on 12th July 2020 in Nottingham. She worked with Vangelis from 1980 to 1984 and engineered several classic scores and album s including Blade Runner, Chariots Of Fire, Antarctica.

In 2010 Raine found a Blade Runner group on google and introduced herself and invited questions about the score and working with Vangelis.

I'm love BLADE RUNNER, both score and movie, yet I would not be really after everything in complete chronological order, as the music as used in the movie was patched and edited. But I would be interested in a release that contains all the music Vangelis composed for the movie, ideally without edited cues but rather as Vangelis performed them.

Oh man, that's really sad news. I found that Q&A she did years ago and it's a real gold mine.
