Ha! Now it's true that I do my best at following the Goldsmith Rule and have journeyed to the top of Mt. Herrmann from whence came the great commandment Thou Shalt Not Use An Orchestrator and have had a close encounter with Apollo via those "Sons of Thunder," James and John, and have even come back to the queen of Sheba after kissing the ring of Pope Franzis, a bit of a rocky proposition only made possible by the grace of Cardinal Conti...and have genuflected to Jerry, true, not to mention the Bishop of Barry while conversing with the Bishop's wife Laurie (Hallelujah Hugo!), and been spellbound after a truly lost weekend that required absolution from the Right Rev. Rozsa on the waterfront from where I made a great escape with Rabbis Bernstein and Bernstein to my summer place and that city on the edge of forever where we met up with psalmists Steiner and Steiner...but our exodus was pure Gold oh what a mad mad world it took me 80 days to go around and find Vicar Young but I found him phew! I thought I had hit a dead end what a street scene thank goodness I reached the Altar of Alfred just in time and praise be to St. Thomas and King David and Righteous Randy who made a new man outta me.

Let us drink from the same cup and break bread together, yea unto our film music priesthood!

Let us drink from the same cup...

There's nothing left, you fool! You drank it all while the rest of us were defecating.

But in all seriousness, although obviously drugs-induced, there are some clever uses of reverential terminology interspersed throughout Mr L's post, albeit distorted so that only the most rabid antisocialist (ha!) film music basement-dweller may understand the reverences (shurely not) to Vicar Young and his flock of misguided score-geeks, who wouldn't know the difference between a soutane and a dog collar even if worn by their dogs.

And so it goes, Squire Graham of Cracker. To quoteth what the divine Shaman Shaiman speaketh, May you reach all items on the bucket list before Mary Poppins returns.

Now sometimes a sermonizer employs repetition for emphasis which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but under the right conditions it becomes refreshing holy water in a glass furnished by Philip the Evangelist. If so, the laity gets the point, horizons are expanded, sometimes a single lost horizon excepting, but then the Patriarch Dimitri steps in and brings one even closer to the high and the Almighty. But again, not always; entrenched orthodoxy may enter, hearts and minds harden thusly, and repetition becomes rote.

An accusation has been tendered, that of false Deification of the Silver Pony-Tailed One. It seems, to me I've heard that song before, it's from an old familiar score, I know it well, that melody...
