She's still attempting to get this made? Good for her - hope that this incarnation will finally be the one. Previous attempts (including one with Mel Gibson attached) crashed and burned.
Green Lantern Corps could be great fun in the right hands. McQuarrie is capable but DC films are terrible. I used to love Green Lantern comics 25 years ago. Cruise as Jordan would be okay with the greeting temples. A younger Bruce Greenwood wiuld have been ideal.

I liked it. I don't know if that means anything, though, because I loved the movie, too. I think it might be just because I love the concept to begin with. That and the J2.
Is Terminator 6 just a working title? I'm all for ditching the continuity after T2 (or at least going an alternate-timeline route), but if they call this new one T6 it will just confuse things even more. I get they can't call it Terminator 3, since we already had one of those, but why not a single word title like the last two?

You can't get anymore, we love America, God, and Troops than that. The stuff you speak of have always been a part of the Oscars. Probably a huge part of the decline in ratings (across the board) are people dropping cable/TV like crazy.
