I checked the old threads and found that the last time I mentioned John Williams 'MINORITY REPORT', was 11 years ago. I viewed the Blu-ray the other evening, and recently played the soundtrack c.d. and the c.d. does a good job of covering a lot of the themes and set-pieces in the film, but the cues are truncated, and some are just not there. Since LALALAND released the complete 'A.I: Artificial Intelligence' fairly recently, would they consider this score for a re-do? I love the Bernard Herrmann, 'Black & White' sounds in this score!

I have not seen this film in a long time. Is there much music missing?

A little under thirty minutes, give or take a minute.

A stand out 30 minutes or?

I would prefer to have WAR OF THE WORLDS then this. Its a far engaging score. Still puzzled why it was not represented in the SPIELBERG/WILLIAMS III cd set.

But, still I would be in favour of having this expanded at later date.

A very underrated score IMO. I enjoyed the album quite a lot.

Excellent score for a mediocre movie.
No interest whatsoever in an expansion

I had the score once; somebody gave it to me, don't recall why. I ripped one cue from it, listened to it maybe once or twice since then and never again. I happily traded away the CD some time ago. Zero regrets.

I count MR as a Williams masterpiece,
so I'd happily welcome a complete/expanded edition.

30 minutes?! I cannot remember more than 5 minutes!

Bring it on, after WotW!

Not especially. Mostly just suspense scoring. All the highlights are already on the original album.

There are a few noteworthy cues that were not released, but the complete score would restore crucial openings and endings that were truncated or removed from the official album. I daresay that the added material would elevate the score's reputation from mere "suspense scoring" to mini-masterpiece

I love this score. The OST is arranged for listening experience as we are all familiar with Johnny doing, and it's fine for that. But I'd also love to hear the C&C of this marvelous music, in narrative sequence and not edited for disc. I don't think there is much missing of huge value, and the existing sound is fantastic. It's mainly for the sequencing that I'd be interested. (And yes I have edited a playlist together in what I gather to be film order but several cues to still give the impression of being composited from different sections of the score. I'd be happy to be proved wrong, though.)

At the Aug. 1, 2017 "Tanglewood on Parade" concert, John Williams includes a selection from the MINORITY REPORT
score, "A New Beginning." I was in the audience and I had not heard it live in concert before. The selection pleasantly surprised me. It's only a 3-minute cue, but I had forgotten what a good string piece it was. I'd love to hear the entire score.

I quite enjoyed watching this film the other night on the telly.
The JW score (which I enjoyed well enough first time around) really stood out with this viewing.
Sean's Theme is quite heart-breaking in context and he nails the chase and suspense stuff brilliantly (as usual).
Does anyone have or know a 'in film order' track list of the CD.
I know the CD opens with the End Titles and track 3 is the first music heard in the film(?).
Appreciate any help...cheers!

What, you think this one here is hard to read?

You could also find the one here: http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?/topic/538-minority-report-chronological/&do=findComment&comment=11953

Or you could use my own whittled down version:

1. Everybody Runs!
2. Anderton's Great Escape
3. A New Beginning

Kidding, though I didn't include Sean's Theme because it's spelled wrong.

1. Pre-Crime To The Rescue
2. Spyders
3. Everybody Runs!
4. Anderton's Great Escape
5. A New Beginning
