With the recent release of the second box set of Deep Space Nine, and with a second volume of Voyager on the way, I thought it might be worth having a separate thread for fan requests that could end up on a subsequent 4-CD set that tries to accommodate additional asks. I imagine it would be one disc per series (TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT), though of course it doesn't have to, and could follow a composer-per-CD model instead, at least for franchise heavy hitters like Dennis McCarthy and Jay Chattaway. LLL have talked about possibly doing this set after the regular releases are done, but I figure it's not soon to start compiling a wish list. (We don't know what will appear on Voyager vol 2, so if you're posting Voyager requests, they may become obsolete when that hit).

My big passion has always been TNG music. I'm happy with with what we have for the other series, but I can never have enough TNG. Still, I do think the music is stronger in the first five seasons, so I'm focusing on those. Season 6 and 7 have proportionally many more unreleased scores, but the material simply isn't as interesting.

Season 1 has only 2 unreleased scores, and though the episodes themselves are best forgotten, I think they contain some nice cues--plus it would be great to round out the season!

Seasons 2 and 3 each have 3 unreleased scores, and I've found selections to enjoy in all of them.

Season 4 has 8 unreleased episode scores, from which I've selected my 4 favorites.

Season 5 has 15 unreleased scores, from which I've selected my 8 favorites.

I've only selected cues from 3 unreleased episodes from Seasons 6 and 7 combined, though there are over 20 episodes with no scores available.

With that said, here are my specific requests:

Off the top of my head:

Any of the missing Wesley chase music from "The Game" (if there is any missing).

The rest of the score to "Silent Enemy".

Some more from "Smililatude".

The "Star Trek: Voyager" series finale commercial music. Yeah, it's trailer music, but it's never been released and people have been asking for it for years, including when it was used in other non-Trek trailers.

The trailer music for the "All Good Things..." finale:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Udlh4cVm0c

Also, a neat idea: finding any score from episodes that was dropped.

As far as TNG goes, I'm pretty good. I do still want that climatic cue from Chattaway's "Eye of the Beholder", though. He wasn't generally allowed to get that aggressive in those days.

I'd love a third volume of music from Enterprise (which had the strongest scores) but recognize that it'll probably never happen. Chattaway and Bunch in particular still have lots of great music unreleased.

Any of the missing Wesley chase music from "The Game" (if there is any missing).

Yeah, that sequence consists of two cues and only the second was released. But to be fair, it's by far the more interesting of the two.

DS9 Main Title (The Way Of The Warrior version) with the added synth bass and cymbals. This version is unique in that it was only played once for that season 4 premiere episode - the full length version on DVD not the syndicated two-part split version, and never released on any CDs.
DS9 / Voyager commercial 'bumpers'. Voyager's "Caretaker" CD had a bumper on it, and for DS9 I still have my old broadcast TV-to-tape versions of all six bumpers. Digitized them years ago.

For the source music section:

VOY 4X18 The Killing Game
Seven of Nine's beautiful renditions of Max Steiner's "It Can't Be Wrong" and the jazz standard "That Old Black Magic"! smile

DS9 7x15 Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang
Sisko and Fontaine singing "The Best Is Yet to Come"

Underscore:

ENT 3x10 Similitude
the beautiful somewhat Harry Potter-esque music for the young Sim beginning at 12:37

ENT 1x12 Silent Enemy
the cue beginning at 39:12 that was also used for the DVD intro

ENT
the music used for the menu intro of the season 3 DVD set, don't know from which episode score it was taken

ENT 1x18 Rogue Planet
27:46-30:35 Archer meeting the Alien women
39:45-41:40 Final scene

ENT 1x22 Vox Sola
more of the beautiful cues using the solo cello

VOY 5x07 Infinite Regress
the cue for Naomi Wildman following Seven in the corridor at 4:28

VOY 7x25 Endgame
Voyager returns to San Francisco

TNG 6x08 A Fistful of Datas
the "Enterprise off into sunset" music for the Finale

TNG 2x10 The Dauphin
McCarthy's score for the "love story"

TNG 6x04 Relics
The complete composition for "Scotty's Bridge"

DS9 7x04 Take Me Out to the Holosuite
"Anthem of the United Federation of Planets"

I would love anything more from The Game - a complete score would be great, but unlikely.

I threw this in as a request for the 50th anniversary set, I know some like, and others not:

Still would like it. big grin

Getting super obscure - I'd love the really short tunes from some of these commercials:

Extreme super obscure, Canadian Shreddies commercial with TNG cereal prizes:

VOY 7x25 Endgame
Voyager returns to San Francisco

This one at least we know we'll get since the finale score has been confirmed to be on Vol. 2.

The teaser for “The Wounded” had some intense music as Troi reads O'Brien's strong feelings about Cardassians.

VOY 4X18 The Killing Game
Seven of Nine's beautiful renditions of Max Steiner's "It Can't Be Wrong" and the jazz standard "That Old Black Magic"!

Wouldn't it be great to have Max Steiner credited in a LLL Star Trek release? smile

From Enterprise: the climactic battle music from Azati Prime. I'm gonna ask for this until I get it or I'm dead. Why this was left off the other releases still boggles my mind.

The intro music to Terra Prime was also a great bit of dramatic scoring.

DS9: all of the action scoring from the War Arc was was unreleased would be amazing.

Yeah, a lot of my favorite Enterprise Chattaway cues got the shaft. The alien invasion cue, torture, and final battle cues from "Anomaly", pretty much all of "Azati Prime." "Zero Hour" had its most important segment released but there's a cue just before it (about five minutes long) that's also great.

I'm telling you guys, we should have some sound effects on this thing! The warp drive/Plamsa Bolt incoming sound effect? It's so classic they used it for TMP's teaser! (Starts at 0:27)
