Ten Commandments Bernstein (the one where on the cover Moses is reading carefully the tablets).
I bought this instead of going all in for the supa dupa deluxe because I'm not really much of a fan of this score. I respect that Bernstein was trying to go a somewhat different route than Rozsa or Newman, but I need to listen to it a few more times (and more carefully) to make a more informed judgment call.
As it is, I far prefer To Kill a Mockingbird, but Bernstein just isn't a favorite of mine overall.
Looking forward to perhaps hearing things I might have missed in this score...this time using headphones and an open mind.
I know it's next year already, but last year (eight days ago), Santa was really nice to me. He brought me -
Goldsmith - DAMNATION ALLEY (Intrada) Goldsmith - ISLANDS IN THE STREAM (FSM) Newman/ Herrmann - THE EGYPTIAN (La-La Land) Rosenman - EDGE OF THE CITY/ THE COBWEB (FSM) Rosenman - A MAN CALLED HORSE (FSM)
Bloody hell! They're all great! That Santa sure knows me inside out!
