At least they are better than Bernard Goldsmith and Jerry Herrmann.

AND ANOTHER THING: Congratulations with coming here and pissing on a celebratory thread. Says a lot about you as a person, I suppose.

AND ANOTHER THING: Congratulations with coming here and pissing on a celebratory thread. Says a lot about you as a person, I suppose. Oh, dear. Dude, if you'd just done what you should have and stated who this person is in your first post, instead of lazily just posting a link, I would have read, realized I had no interest, and ignored it. But, no. Even when I asked who he was, you had to be rude with a "Geeez." Perhaps there's a lesson here on how to start a celebratory thread? Says a lot about you, sir.

AND ANOTHER THING: Congratulations with coming here and pissing on a celebratory thread. Says a lot about you as a person, I suppose. Reminds me of your reply to the Simon & Garfunkel thread years back which was well underway when you wrote: Simon and who? Guess that says a lot about you as a person, doesn't it? Yes, it does. http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=90027&forumID=7&archive=0 And no, I'm not buying the Edgar Cayce--or whatever his fuckin' name is--biography. And neither should you. Geez, what a joke you are. I actually thought you had a certain depth and intelligence re your posts on Joy Division and New Order, but looks like I was dead wrong.

I HATE Tangerine Dream music. They ruined film scores, as far as I'm concerned. BLAH!!!!!!! What's up your ass? "Ruined film scores"? Yeah, right. Like everything Waxman, Hermann, Rota, etc. have done is SO awesome. You're just a synth hater or what? Well, yeah, I am a synth hater, at least when it sounds synthy. What's up your ass that you got a problem with that? But, I didn't put it right. What I meant to say was that Tangerine Dream was one of the worst things that ever happened to film scores. I hope that makes you feel better.

I'm not buying the autobiography yet, as I still have a lot of Tangerine Dream to explore -- musically (I've heard a lot, but still missing a lot; they were so prolific). Did he write this up untill the day he died, or is it an "older" work? What I DO want to see, though, is this recent documentary: https://mubi.com/films/tangerine-dream-sound-from-another-world (PS. Don't let the old nincompoops here bother you. Just ignore!) Yes, he wrote it until the day he died. His wife has done the rest. I saw the german documentary without subtitles. It was good, but had too much from the 70s compared to the other decades. I know, ignoring those losers are the best, but it's kind of hard when they show up here brimming with ignorance and cluelessness. :-D
